Studies Show That Husbands Stress Women Twice As Many As Children
If there is one thing that has been proven over and over again is that women are more involved and influential over a child’s life. This is due to history where men went out to hunt prey. On the other hand, women stayed in caves to collect fruits and vegetables and take care of the kids until they could do something by themselves.
Nevertheless, we still see remains of this even in modern times. It was only a few years ago that women were given the right to work and bring money to the house the same as men have done for years now.
You should just ask a grandmother or a great-grandmother what she did while she was young and you will see that the women just worked around the house and the men outside the house.
It is true that being a parent is not an easy job and mothers have a gift for this that they develop more with experience. Thus, it is a very time-consuming job which they know that they agree on as soon as they accept being mothers.
The biggest stress when it comes to parenting is to get through the different stages of the kids’ lives which are all difficult in a way. However, mothers are dedicated and put much effort into raising their kids, and this is very admirable.
Having said this, how do they collaborate with their husbands? That is the question.
The Real Reason Why Women Stress in Parenting
Parenting is a job that needs to be done by two people. Both the parents need to be a part of the upbringing and training of the child, however, we have all seen that the responsibility usually falls on the mother in most cases.
Moreover, oftentimes it can happen that the husband can stress worse than the child. Studies claim that 45% of the mothers have had this situation.
When you pick the person who you want to spend your whole life with, it is very normal to build a future together, to buy a house and to have children.
However, women rarely ask their husbands if they want to put everything on hold so that they can work on their plans and dreams together. This is a very obvious question it seems.
This is why it comes as a big surprise when things do not happen like this. A lot of women who were a part of a survey confirmed that there is a lack of support in raising children from their husbands.
Men usually become defensive and claim that the mistake is that women do not want to ask for help and they just assume that the women can solve the problems by themselves.
Therefore, what we can get out of this is that communication is very-much needed from both parts. This way every misunderstanding and stress can be solved. Thus, relationship will be strong enough to do a great parenting job together.
